I've been doing this stuff for about 7 years now and it becomes repetitive. As you have found out, it's hard to move into a different occupation. Now that you have this job, you'll get other similar ones easier. But if you want to move ahead it'll be tough. They'll want to keep giving you the same crappy jobs over and over again. I also live in a pretty crappy area so maybe it's a local problem. There's not a lot of $$$ in the Philly area. It's not like Dallas, Houston, Silicon Valley or Research Triangle Park. For instance, instead of seeing "riced out" cars like I commonly see posted on the Internet, I mostly see ghetto cars, such as Bubb rubb whistle crap. No whistles here, but lots of ghetto mods on cars that are falling apart.
